I took another trip to London yesterday to follow on from where we left off with the Millennium bridge series a couple of weeks ago. This time I concentrated on Canary Wharf as I have wanted to capture this area of London by night for a while now. It was VERY cold however I was on the shoot for about 5 hours. I have never been to Canary Wharf before and so it was literally the case of wondering around and stumbling across scenes.

A Load Of Bottle Tops And Depth Of Field
I was experimenting with depth of field and thought that a pile of bottle tops on a mirror would demonstrate the effect nicely. All image were taken using a Canon 50mm prime lens and Canon 430ex mk11 flash gun……
Inside An HDR Christmas Tree
Just a bit of photography experimentation on a weekday evening, did a couple of test shots to see how our Christmas tree and decorations would come out in HDR……..more to follow
Lakeside HDR
Took a stroll round a local lake this weekend to see if there were any interesting scenes to capture in HDR…..the first day was fairly average weather wise but the second day there was a heavy fog covering the local area…..

Mirror, Water And Flower
Tried out some random ideas tonight with a mirror, some water and (from what started out as random objects) some blue flowers from the garden (the missus is non too pleased heheh!) ;0)
Silhouette River
Missed the actaul sunset last night but decided to still concentrate on the still river surface for a reflection and long exposure to capture the colour remaining in the sky.
