Had a frustrating time over the last two weeks with FPR playing up and being VERY unreliable (sorry about that!). Anyway, fingers crossed it’s sorted now!! Took a few shots with my 50mm lens last night, quite pleased with the result/effect…….
8mm And 50mm Roaming
I thought I would take a quick trip out tonight for some Fisheye and 50mm shots of the local area. First off the Fisheye seemed the right choice for a close horizon shot and I tried to use the barbed wire fence as the central point of focus (right in the centre! heheh). Next I wanted a location that would really extenuate the 50mm shallow depth of field, the ladybird and poppy were lucky finds which proved very useful foe a bit of colour in an otherwise monotone location.

Colours in Autumn are also vivid and often have a sheen from the moisture in the air that offers a great photographic opportunity. All of the images in this gallery were taken using a Canon 50mm lens and manual focus…
Self Portrait Photography Guide
It’s all very well taking photos of others but what about when you fancy taking one of yourself. Surely it’s easy as you are the perfect subject!? No need to explain what you want from the shoot or the need to understand what the subject wants……..there are, however a few things that you should consider and do to get the best shot possible, after all, this is YOU that you are trying to please!!
Image Of The Moment – Bournemouth
I purchased a new 50mm camera lens and to Christen it I drove 100 miles to Bournemouth on the South coast of England to take some photos. I used to visit Bournemouth a lot when my grand parents lived there and it brought back great memories (as well as providing ample opps for photos (although very busy with sun worshippers))!
