Return To The Falls

I have neglected photography for the past month or so (sorry about that! heheh), anyway, went out for the first time in a long time tonight and decided to go back to a local park and waterfall where I first practised slow shutter speed photography. 8mm And 50mm Roaming

I thought I would take a quick trip out tonight for some Fisheye and 50mm shots of the local area. First off the Fisheye seemed the right choice for a close horizon shot and I tried to use the barbed wire fence as the central point of focus (right in the centre! heheh). Next I wanted a location that would really extenuate the 50mm shallow depth of field, the ladybird and poppy were lucky finds which proved very useful foe a bit of colour in an otherwise monotone location.

Silhouette River

Missed the actaul sunset last night but decided to still concentrate on the still river surface for a reflection and long exposure to capture the colour remaining in the sky.

Can’t be bothered or don’t have the time to venture out on a photo shoot. Try taking a macro lens into the garden! Close up things look wildly different and macro photos often show you details in everyday objects that you would miss…..
