I have neglected photography for the past month or so (sorry about that! heheh), anyway, went out for the first time in a long time tonight and decided to go back to a local park and waterfall where I first practised slow shutter speed photography. This time there was no need for a filter as the light levels were low……
8mm And 50mm Roaming
I thought I would take a quick trip out tonight for some Fisheye and 50mm shots of the local area. First off the Fisheye seemed the right choice for a close horizon shot and I tried to use the barbed wire fence as the central point of focus (right in the centre! heheh). Next I wanted a location that would really extenuate the 50mm shallow depth of field, the ladybird and poppy were lucky finds which proved very useful foe a bit of colour in an otherwise monotone location.
Er….Weed Photography
Tried out some macro photography tonight on the weeds in my garden. I used a Canon 430EX MK11 external flash and wireless Phottix triggers for light and to remove the background, came out OK I think……….;0)
Silhouette River
Missed the actaul sunset last night but decided to still concentrate on the still river surface for a reflection and long exposure to capture the colour remaining in the sky.
