Blog ArchivesMajorca Through The Fisheye
I have just returned from 10 days in Majorca. Whilst there I took the opportunity to take some shots of the local coastline, beaches and towns. I was a little constrained with regards to the equipment I could take due to weight restrictions on the flight and so I only had my Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens…..
8mm And 50mm Roaming
I thought I would take a quick trip out tonight for some Fisheye and 50mm shots of the local area. First off the Fisheye seemed the right choice for a close horizon shot and I tried to use the barbed wire fence as the central point of focus (right in the centre! heheh). Next I wanted a location that would really extenuate the 50mm shallow depth of field, the ladybird and poppy were lucky finds which proved very useful foe a bit of colour in an otherwise monotone location.
Summer Sunset
Noticed the sunset whilst driving home last night. Normally I cant get to a good spot in time to capture the best colours and effect but I think I got there just in time thankfully!
Sundown
Been testing out my new lens recently (previous portrait post as well). Went to the local lake today at sunset and was pleased I did, lovely light!!
An Ant’s View Of Tonight’s Sunset
Great sunset tonight tonight, tried to capture it from a slightly different perspective……
