London Skyline And Canary Wharf By Night

I took another trip to London yesterday to follow on from where we left off with the Millennium bridge series a couple of weeks ago. This time I concentrated on Canary Wharf as I have wanted to capture this area of London by night for a while now. It was VERY cold however I was on the shoot for about 5 hours. I have never been to Canary Wharf before and so it was literally the case of wondering around and stumbling across scenes.

A Few Birds, A Bridge And A Boat

I took the day off work today and went over to Windsor. The normal, obvious set of photos would have been the castle etc but I didn’t bother with that. Instead I stayed by the river and captured some shots of the hundreds of gulls and swans that inhabit Windsor and enjoy the generosity of the thousands of tourists that feed them each and every day.

Subtle Black And White HDR Workflow

HDR doesn’t have to have elaborate colours, black and white HDR can have just as much impact given the right treatment and care. I take a lot of HDR photos, sometimes I take the shots with the intention of creating a black and white HDR image. Here is my workflow….

Grafitti And Me!

0

I went out VERY early last weekend in the freezing cold to take some urban shots. There is a local skate ramp under a railway bridge that has some great graffiti so I thought that was a good start. Before my hands lost feeling I managed to take some shots of the graffiti and a couple of self portraits for some profile pictures. I am told that I always look depressed in my self portrait shots….I know, this is because if I smile I look a bit weird!!!!! ;0)
