Mist Shrouded Woodland

There was a heavy mist this morning so as well as taking a trip to a local lake I also stopped off at some woods on the way home to capture the following images of a misty Autumnal morning.

Took a stroll round a local lake this weekend to see if there were any interesting scenes to capture in HDR…..the first day was fairly average weather wise but the second day there was a heavy fog covering the local area…..

Self Portrait/HDR Testing

I thought I would test out some self portrait shots combined with subtle hdr. As the sun was out and shining I decided to use it for a back light (more on that in an article in a couple of days). I tried to keep the HDR effect quite subtle and simply apply it to enhance the eyes and also the general tones/colours of the photographs.
