2012 offers us all the opportunity to embark on new photography projects. Whether this be portraits, landscapes, urban or marco, a lot of thought should be given to a project that could potentially last all year. Having an ongoing theme for your photography will provide you with the opportunity to build a specific portfolio as well as keeping your interest and concentration high during the life of your project. Amsterdam – A Photo Gallery

Amsterdam, with it’s 17th century network of concentric canals, embraces the heart of the city. These canals are a result of deliberate city planning. Amsterdam has a rich architectural history. The oldest building in Amsterdam is the Oude Kerk, at the heart of the Wallen, consecrated in 1306.

I have been wanting to take some photos of the inside of a church for a while now. On Sunday’s they obviously have a service being conducted and so this is not the best time, otherwise they seem to be closed?? Managed to find this quaint little church open in a village near me (left some money in the collection) ;0)
