A recent quote/review of Ron’s new book reads;
‘In “Do You See What I See,” Ron Dubin creates new meaning and energy in his recent work by pairing them and inviting viewers to find commonalities. In most cases the matched sets share a subject, mood or texture. Often there is wry humor and irony. In some, it might require a moment or two before one is hit by an epiphany and insight into his unique world view. The images, whether American landscapes, architectural studies or Bolivian village scenes, all stand up on their own as serious photography. In sets they are that and more.’
This quote sums up the book eloquently and highlights the beauty in Ron’s work. The images contained within are of the types of subjects that many of us see on a day to day basis but are in too much of a rush to notice and appreciate. Location, composition, lighting, textures and emotion are all woven together with such an artistic eye that the end result is nothing short of stunning.
I cannot recommend this book enough and cannot wait for the next collection that Ron puts together! If you would like to keep up to the minute with Ron’s work then he can be followed on the following sites;
