I have been following Rich’s work and website for a while now and his photos never fail to impress me. Full of colour and warmth Rich has a style that captures the very essence of the scene’s he photograph’s. I wanted to find out what inspires Rich and the thought processes behind his work, luckily for me Rich kindly agreed to answer some questions and in wonderful detail!
The Windy Pixel is one of only a few photography sites I visit religiously EVERY day. Every time this site opens I am presented with another stunning, original HDR image and a great article about the photograph. This is more often than not the work of Justin Kern, one of the most impressive and consistently brilliant HDR photographers you will find on the Web. I ’speak’ to Justin on a regular basis via Twitter, through comments on tWp and on Facebook, but wanted to delve a bit further into what makes him tick and inspires his relentless creativity and photographic vision…….
Running a website such as FPR you get to meet some fantastic photographers and friends, such as Jeff Byrnes. A passionate photographer with ever changing and experimental photography you cannot help but notice Jeff’s desire to constantly find new photo techniques and subjects and this is reflected in the beautiful execution of his work. I have wanted to interview Jeff about his photography for a while now and finally managed to earlier this week. HDRcreme is a dedicated HDR photographers paradise, from tutorials to forums and a great gallery allowing users to upload their HDR images and have these critiqued by other members.
The site is very clean and easy to navigate as well as being nicely intuative.
It’s not often that I find a photographer who’s photographs inspire me to shoot in black and white and have such a depth and emotion to them. Donald’s unique vision and sheer enthusiasm for monotone is displayed beautifully in his photography and I was thrilled when he agreed to answer my questions about his passion for photography and what inspires him to take the stunning photos that are displayed on his website…
