Live….A Silhouette Portrait
As I missed a photo of the sky tonight, even though I was tipped off, I thought I would post a past sunset shot from a couple of weeks ago. It’s by a clay pit which is now a nature reserve near to where I live. The sunsets are amazing and the sky turns a brilliant golden colour…….like tonight………next time eh!?

Went out tonight in the hope of getting some Bokeh shots with my 50mm. When I couldn’t find anything interesting enough to shoot I caught site of one of the mirrors in a local car park……

Escort Cosworth Project
A friend of mine is currently building a Ford Escort with a Cosworth engine. When finished it will be awesome but whilst it is being prepared it makes for a great photography subject!

My Guide To Self Portrait Photography
A lot of my photos are self portraits, usually this is due to the fact that the location I have gone to for some landscape shots is not as good as I thought it would be. I enjoy the challenge of creating new, interesting portraits that either tell a story or are from a different perspective than the norm. In this ‘tutorial’ I will explain my thought process and what elements I consider when taking a self portrait.
