I thought I would try and take a self portrait that told a story. As I like a little ‘darkness’ in my portraits I went the whole hog and tried to portray someone at the end of the road……

I have recently very generously been sent the Canon 20mm f/2.8 lens to review for B&H Photo. I wanted to test and review a wide angle lens and the 20mm fit the bill nicely…….

Japan is one place that I would love to visit purely to take photo’s and to try and capture the sheer beauty of the country. With such diversity and contrasting landscapes I don’t think you could ever get bored!

It’s incredible how varied the photo’s you find on FLickr when you search for ‘Easter’. Some are obvious, others, well……..

Great night tonight, went to Hambledon Weir just down the road from work. Sky started off cloudy but then changed to great colours!

Went out early this morning to catch the frost. Something about frost and a blue sky that makes for a great subject for photography!!
